Seeking a sensible means to promote inspired ocean research and innovative education programs, dozens of philanthropists—large and small—already support the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.

In fact, the idea of the foundation came from art collectors, fishers, sportspeople, and conservationists who share Guy Harvey’s love of the ocean and vision to help it thrive for the benefit of future generations. 

The Scientific Advisory Board will craft grant criteria and carefully evaluate applications to ensure that each philanthropic dollar is invested in worthwhile, practical solutions to our oceans’ greatest challenges, and Guy Harvey will personally oversee and participate in the research’s field work. 

Donors may designate their gifts to scientific research, the development of education programs for future scientists, or in the area of most critical need.
